1. COMPETITIONβ
Platforms: PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S
(Must have the required online subscription β PS+ or Xbox Live β depending on your system)
Game: Latest released version of FIFA / EA Sports FC
Format: 1v1
Match Structure: Best of 1 game
Scheduling:
- Match time is 4:00 PM on designated match days. Matches may be started early if both teams agree.
- Match reschedules must be arranged prior to Match Time
- Rescheduled matches must be completed no later than 4 PM on Friday of the same week
2. PLAYERSβ
- A team roster must consist of 1 player
- A player may represent only one team's roster in the same MiHSEF season
- Players must be registered prior to the start of the season
- Teams must provide a minimum of 1 player for a match
- If unable to field the required player, the team will forfeit the match
3. PRE-MATCHβ
The HOME team will create the match lobby and invite the opposing player. Both players should verify connection and match readiness via Fenworks or Discord prior to starting.
Required Match Settingsβ

All other settings must remain at default.
- The player who initiates/creates the match is the HOME team and is responsible for hosting
- During playoffs, the higher seeded team is designated as HOME and is responsible for hosting
4. GAMEPLAYβ
Players may select any club or international team. Players may change teams between matches.
If a match is tied at the end of regulation:
- No extra time will be played
- Penalty kicks determine the winner
5. STOPPAGE OF PLAYβ
If a player disconnects:
- The disconnected player must reconnect within 5 minutes
- Failure to reconnect within 5 minutes results in a forfeit
If both players experience severe lag or connection issues, the match may be restarted only if both players agree.
The match will not be restarted due to controller, console, or personal equipment failure unless both players agree to a good faith restart.
6. MATCH PROCEDURESβ
- Final score must be entered into Fenworks
- Matches without reported results may be subject to penalties, including match forfeiture for both teams
7. RESTRICTIONSβ
- Any intentional use of bugs, exploits, or third-party applications that provide an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited
- MiHSEF will determine what constitutes a violation of this rule
