Michigan High School Esports Federation is a free-to-join non-profit organization offering competitive esports for Michigan high schools. Founded and operated by local educators, MiHSEF ensures the highest quality student experience and competition.

🕐 Weekly Game Schedules

All games start at 4:00 PM EST

  • Queue Activation: 2:45 PM - 3:45 PM daily
  • Match Generation: 3:45 PM
  • Late Start Policy: Games must begin by 4:15 PM (15 minutes after scheduled time) or forfeit may be assigned

📝 School Registration

Step 1: Complete Membership Agreement

Electronic Signing (Recommended):

Manual Process:

Returning Schools

Only need to provide:

  • School Name
  • Total Enrollment
  • Advisor Name & Email
  • Signatures on final page

New Schools

Complete full registration form including:

  • School contact information
  • Advisor details
  • Team level selections
  • Enrollment numbers

Step 2: Join Discord

Required for all advisors and coaches

  • Server Link: MiHSEF Discord
  • Follow setup instructions for proper permissions
  • Players encouraged to join for community and training

Step 3: LeagueOS Setup

Deadline: Friday, February 6, 2026

  1. New Schools: Check email for LeagueOS account claim link
  2. All Schools: Visit app.leagueos.gg for dashboard
  3. Team Setup: Create teams and roster players
  4. Video Guide: How to Add Teams & Roster

Step 4: Attend Training

  • Office hours and informational sessions available
  • Dates posted on MiHSEF Calendar
  • Required for new advisors and coaches

Step 5: Compete

  • Pre-season encouraged
  • Teams not participating may be dropped from regular season
  • 2 Forfeit Rule: Teams with 2 forfeits will be dropped (can be reinstated after meeting)

⚖️ Rules & Policies

Communication Requirements

  • Discord: Primary communication platform for coaches
  • LeagueOS Chat: Used for match-day communication
  • Contact Setup: Ensure LeagueOS profile is complete for notifications

Advisor Responsibilities

  1. Designated by school administration
  2. Attend all meetings, practices, and competitions
  3. Ensure program compliance with school policies and laws
  4. Oversee student safety and conduct

Liability Release

All participating schools agree to the liability release terms in the membership agreement, releasing MiHSEF and its representatives from claims related to participation.

Code of Conduct

Programs violating MiHSEF rules and policies may have membership cancelled or revoked.
