1. COMPETITION
Platforms: PC, Xbox Series S/X, or PS5
Activity: 5v5 Crossplay
Series Lengths:
- Regular Season: Play 2 maps
- Blitz: Best of 3 (BO3)
- Playoffs: Best of 3 (BO3)
2. PLAYERS
- Each team's roster must consist of at least 5 players, with up to 5 bench players
- Games can continue if one team only has 4 players show up to play
- A player may represent only one team's roster in the same MiHSEF R6 competition
3. PRE-MATCH
The Home Team will join a party together, then invite the Away Team. Once all members are in the party and have selected "Ready Up", the party leader will start the game.
- Teams are not allowed spectators unless both teams agree
- Spectators are permitted for streaming purposes only — no communication with players during play, and the spectator must not be a member of the roster participating in the match
- A spectator caught abusing spectator mode will have their spectator rights revoked for all future matches in the season, and other penalties may be enforced at the discretion of the Tournament Officials
- A 3-minute delay is required for any streaming

Make sure to set these settings before creating the lobby, as most cannot be changed after.

In the event incorrect players are present or incorrect settings are loaded, the match should be stopped and reset. If a game is completed before realizing the error, the results stand.
5. GAMEPLAY
- Scores must be reported in Fenworks no later than 11:59 PM on the same day as the match
- Report the number of rounds won per team
- Allowed during match sets (BO3) between maps when in playoffs and at championships
6. STOPPAGE OF PLAY
- Intentionally disconnecting during the match is strictly prohibited
- If a player drops, the round will continue uninterrupted until the end of the round. The round is considered to start at the first second of the preparation phase. After the round is completed, the player who disconnected may rejoin
- At least 4 players must remain active; otherwise, the disconnecting team forfeits
- Contact a MiHSEF Tournament Official (TO) for persistent disconnect issues
Server Re-Hosting:
- Each team may request one server re-host per match, provided the first round has not been completed and first blood has not yet occurred in Round 1
- In the event that a match is rehosted, each player must select the same settings/operators as they picked at the start of the original game
- If problems persist after a re-host, the team must play with the remaining 4 players
7. RESTRICTIONS
- Players may receive technical defeats for using bugs
- Unfair play is defined as using scripts or programs that hack the game
- Delaying the match is strictly prohibited and may result in a technical defeat
Spawn killing within the first 3 seconds of the action phase is strictly prohibited. Doing so will result in the loss of the round for the offending team.
- Player skins, backgrounds, victory poses, weapon skins, and charms are allowed
- Must not be currently disabled in competitive game mode
- Weapon skins, charms, and operator background cards have no restrictions
- Report disallowed cosmetics with screenshots/video evidence
