Probation

What is Probation?

A team on probation has violated the code of conduct. Any further violation will result in a ban for one year. That may be coach, player, or program punishment.

Consequences During Probation

Receiving any further sanctions during your period of probation may result in:

  • Immediate dismissal and disqualification of all current teams for the MiHSEF season
  • Revocation of membership status and permanent ban of program from all MiHSEF affiliated events

Completion of Probation

Completion of your program's probationary period without incident will result in:

  • Establishment of your program in good faith and full credit
  • A letter of record will be noted in your program's file
Repeat Offenders

A program that consistently moves between good standing and probation may result in removal of the program and all active teams from MiHSEF. A program may re-apply to MiHSEF under consideration of the board and disciplinary committee.

Communication Expectations

Coaches are expected to:

  • Be available for communication through Discord for matches and reschedules
  • Regularly communicate all matches and reschedules with opposing coaches in a timely manner
  • Be present and available for communication for all matches via Discord

Failure to meet these expectations will result in:

  1. First Warning: DM notification to coach
  2. Second Offense or Third Forfeit: Building administrator notified via email, program in jeopardy of sanctions

Questions regarding your status may be sent via Discord DM to the appropriate committee or board member.
