Michigan High School Esports Federation is a free-to-join non-profit organization offering competitive esports for Michigan high schools. Founded and operated by local educators, MiHSEF ensures the highest quality student experience and competition.

Key Season Dates

  • Pre-Season / Onboarding (M-F): September 7 – September 18, 2026 (2 Weeks)
  • Regular Season (M-F): September 21 – November 6, 2026 (7 Weeks)
  • Makeup / Buffer Week (M-F): November 9 – November 13, 2026 (No Competition)
  • Post-Season / Playoffs (M-F): November 16 – November 20, 2026
  • Thanksgiving Break (M-F): November 23 – November 27, 2026 (No Competition)
  • State Finals: Saturday, December 5, 2026 (CONFIRMED)

🏆 State Finals - Fall 2026

  • Date: Saturday, December 5, 2026 (CONFIRMED)
  • Location: University of Michigan-Flint Recreation Center
  • Details: Full shoutcasting, in-person championship games. Matches and ticketing details are To Be Announced (TBA).

General Onboarding Flow

  1. Membership Agreement: All participating schools must have a completed agreement on file.
  2. Discord Presence: Advisors and coaches are required to join the official MiHSEF Discord for communication and match-day support.
  3. Roster Verification: Roster requirements and lock dates will be announced alongside the platform setup instructions.
